Restoration: A Bold Prayer for Unmarried
“Crowned by Grace. Bold in Faith.” — Bold and Blunt for Christ
Prayer Declaration:
Father God,
We thank You for this relationship and the opportunity to grow in love, honesty, and spiritual maturity together. We confess and decree that our bond is built on truth, trust, communication, consideration, and friendship—not on lust, fear, or confusion. We are learning to love each other with the selfless, patient, and enduring love that comes from You.
We desire emotional intimacy that honors our individual purpose and invites You into every part of our journey. Teach us how to communicate with grace, respect each other’s boundaries, and build a foundation that leads to a strong, God-glorifying marriage.
We confess that this relationship reflects Your will and timing—not pressure, manipulation, or temporary pleasure. We thank You that our connection honors You and draws us closer to Christ and each other.
Lord, we ask that all soul ties from past relationships and ungodly attachments be broken now in Jesus’ name. Cleanse our hearts and minds from every past connection that doesn’t serve this present purpose.
We ask for emotional purity, spiritual focus, and a love that grows deeper through prayer, accountability, and honesty. Remove every appetite, memory, and fantasy tied to people or patterns that don’t belong in our future.
We thank You, Father, for a new beginning. One rooted in truth, not trauma—hope, not history. Let this relationship reflect Your grace and glory.
Help us to keep You at the center and walk in agreement until it is clear whether this relationship is destined for marriage. If so, prepare us to become one in covenant, not just in desire.
Until that day, help us honor each other in words, actions, and physical boundaries. Keep us strong and united in the Spirit.
We don’t want to rush into anything that isn’t God’s timing. We seek restoration, not recreation. Purpose, not pressure. Covenant, not confusion.
Father, help us to date with clarity, intention, and purity. Make us whole individuals first so we can become a whole, healed, and holy couple later.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
