Hi, I’m Taji Edmonds—the heart and voice behind Bold & Blunt for Christ.

This blog was born from my pain, my survival, and my unshakable faith that God still speaks, still heals, and still cares deeply for broken, overlooked, and hurting women—just like me.

I’m a single mother, raising two amazing boys on my own. Life hasn’t been easy. I’ve walked through the trauma of domestic abuse, the weight of financial hardship, and the daily battle of health challenges that many people don’t even see. There were days I didn’t know how I would make it—mentally, emotionally, or financially.

But I’ve learned that even in the darkness, God never leaves. I’ve cried out, I’ve doubted, and I’ve broken down—but I’ve also witnessed miracles, breakthroughs, and the kind of peace that only comes from Jesus Christ.

Bold & Blunt for Christ is my story. My real, raw, and redeemed journey. It’s a space where I can speak boldly about what I’ve been through—and where other women can feel seen, heard, and encouraged.

Whether you’re a single mom, a survivor, someone struggling with faith, or just tired of pretending everything is okay—this space is for you. I pray my transparency gives you strength, and my testimony reminds you: you’re not alone and you still have purpose.
